The hems are constructed with one line of stitching. The hoist edge has a polyester tape sewn to form a sleeve. This sleeve enables the plastic hand held stick to be slid into it. A plastic finial is fitted to the top of the stick. The colours in the flag are disperse dyes applied using a screen printing process. The dyes penetrate both sides of the material so the colours are visible on both sides of the flag. These flags have a variety of uses: sporting team support; decorations and marches.
